Tori Arnold, MSW, Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern
Tori serves as the school therapist at Idylwild Elementary School, supporting children, adolescents, and families across both school and community settings. She is committed to providing person-centered care that honors each client’s unique experiences, strengths, and needs. Through weekly therapeutic sessions, Tori uses evidence-based clinical approaches to help children explore and express emotions, build healthy coping skills, and navigate changing or complex family circumstances with greater confidence and support.
Before joining Village Counseling Center, Tori worked in a long-term care facility specializing in dementia care, family services, and end-of-life support. In that role, she collaborated closely with families and nursing teams to create comprehensive care plans addressing clients’ mental, physical, and emotional needs while promoting ongoing comfort and well-being. This experience strengthened her ability to adapt to each client’s needs through behavioral attunement, compassion, and creative therapeutic approaches. Tori earned her Master of Social Work degree from North Carolina State University.
Outside of work, Tori enjoys spending time outdoors, discovering new trails, hiking, and swimming. She also loves needlepointing, exploring new coffee shops, and playing with her two cats.
