Keli Ball, M.A., LMHC

Keli is a Senior Clinician at Village Counseling Center, having first joined VCC during a graduate counseling internship in 2011 before transitioning into a permanent therapist role. Her background includes clinical work with the Child Protection Team in Sarasota, Florida, supporting children with trauma histories and adolescents with sexual behavior problems. Keli is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (TF-CBT), Certified Juvenile Sexual Offender Therapist, Certified Adoption Counselor, and Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapist (DBT). She helped establish VCC’s DBT program, leading individual, family, and group treatment continuously updated to collaboratively meet the needs of youth in foster care. She also directs services for adolescents with problematic sexual behavior (PSB). Throughout her career, Keli has developed deep proficiency in supporting adolescents who struggle to regulate emotions, tolerate distress, navigate personality development, and build effective life skills—always prioritizing child and family safety through honesty and validation.

On the personal side, Keli was raised on a 700-acre family crop farm in Indiana, moved with her family to Kissimmee, Florida as a young teen, and relocated to Gainesville in 2007. She worked as a floral designer during college and still lends a hand at a local shop on major holidays. In her free time, she enjoys running, cycling, rock climbing, exploring the outdoors, collecting sneakers, playing bass guitar in a local blues band, and mastering new grilling recipes. Above all, she loves making genuine connections and supporting others on their journey toward joy and growth.
