Jamie Garvey, M.S., LMHC

Jamie is a licensed mental health counselor with over 10 years of experience working with children, teens, families, and adults facing varying mental health struggles. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and her master’s degree from Troy University.

Jamie’s clinical background includes community mental health services, school-based programs for children in ESE programs as well as gifted/honors classes, targeted case management, and outpatient behavioral health. She has a passion for working with children and adolescents and supporting their families in their time of need. She has worked with VCC since 2022, offers trauma-informed treatment, and is an adoption-certified therapist.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and cheering on the Gators!
