At the University of Florida, she provided live clinical supervision and case consultation to graduate interns in the Advanced Family Clinic and Agency Counseling programs, in addition to teaching coursework in substance abuse, stress management, diagnosis, and professional ethics. Her practice is informed by an academic concentration in neuroscience, sociology, and psychology, enriched by prior research roles conducting behavioral coding, memory testing, and neurological assessments at the Gainesville VA Medical Center, UF Health – Shand’s Memory Disorder Clinic, and UF Child Study Lab. A published researcher and former regional representative for the Florida Counseling Association, Bliss integrates empirical science, neurodevelopmental insights, and systemic family therapy to foster lasting relational healing.
