Dr. Bliss Wargovich, LMFT

Bliss Wargovich, Ph.D., LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist and counselor educator with extensive experience providing trauma-focused psychotherapy to children, families, and couples. She earned her Ph.D. and M.Ed. in Counselor Education—both CACREP-accredited—from the University of Florida, where she specialized in marriage and family therapy, attachment theory, and counselor development.

Bliss’s clinical background spans community mental health, pediatric behavioral health, psychiatric settings, and in-home family counseling. Since 2016, she has served as a therapist at Village Counseling Center in Gainesville, offering trauma-informed treatment including TF-CBT, EMDR, and equine-assisted psychotherapy. She is a Certified Adoption Competent Therapist and a trained EAGALA Mental Health and Equine Specialist.
