Christy Lynch, M.A.

Christy is a Registered Mental Health Intern with experience supporting children, adolescents, and families across clinical, child welfare, and school-based settings. Serving as the School Therapist at Terwilliger Elementary School, she provides weekly play therapy sessions designed to help children explore emotions, develop coping and communication skills, build healthy relationships, and strengthen their overall well-being.

Previously, Christy worked as a Clinical Specialist with Partnership for Strong Families, overseeing treatment outcomes for children with diverse mental health needs within Florida’s foster care system. Her additional experience as a Child Protective Investigator and Professional Clinical Counselor has strengthened her ability to respond to crises, assess children’s needs, and create safe, warm, and welcoming environments for individuals who have experienced adversity. She holds a Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UCLA.

Christy is passionate about helping children and families develop self-understanding, resilience, and a greater sense of well-being. She brings an open-minded, compassionate, and collaborative approach to her work and values creating spaces where children feel heard, supported, and empowered. Outside of work, Christy enjoys playing piano, hiking, playing recreational sports, and, most of all, laughing with her loved ones.
