Karly Bell, M.Ed., Ed.S., LMHC

Karly has more than a decade of experience working with children, adolescents, and families in school, community, and counseling settings. Her background includes individual and family counseling, crisis support, assessment, and care coordination. Her graduate training in Marriage and Family Therapy has shaped a family-centered approach that considers each child within the context of their relationships, school, and life experiences. She has experience supporting children experiencing anxiety, ADHD, emotional and behavioral challenges, trauma-related concerns, self-esteem issues, peer difficulties, and family transitions.

At Village Counseling Center, Karly especially enjoys partnering with parents and caregivers and believes their involvement is an important part of helping children make meaningful, lasting progress. Her work may include CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, play-based interventions, trauma-informed care, and practical strategies that help children and families better understand patterns, build skills, and make changes that carry over into everyday life. Outside of work, Karly is a wife and mom of three boys and understands firsthand how full, funny, exhausting, and rewarding family life can be. She enjoys spending time with her family, being involved in her church and community, and finding simple ways to make everyday life meaningful.
